Nicola Smith has been an integral part of Moxie Interactive for the past three and a half years. Smith started out in the client services department working on the Verizon Wireless account, but soon thereafter she transferred to the Participant Intelligence Group to oversee research and strategy around emerging technologies, media platforms and user behavior. Currently, she works to bring innovative ideas and technologies to her clients including Verizon Wireless, Maybelline, Garnier, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Cartoon Network and 20th Century FOX.
Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa Smith’s experience spans multiple digital and traditional mediums including a proficiency in film production and production design, radio communications, digital marketing and trends research and application. Her innovative thinking has helped win awards like the AIMA Most Effective Use of Video award for Verizon Wireless’ Snowy Surprise, the iMedia Agency Shoot Out for the Renault Laguna Coupe, IMA’s Outstanding Achievement Award and many others.
Smith also currently teaches a Digital 1 trends course at the Creative Circus, an Advertising school in Atlanta.
Smith currently lives in Atlanta with her husband.
