ME0023 – Location Based Marketing with Adam Steinberg

I am joined by the Co-Founder of Place Punch Adam Steinberg to talk about location base marketing. Adam is co-founder and CEO of PlacePunch, where he is responsible for strategy and execution. Adam brings years of experience building and marketing innovative social-media products. Previously, Adam served as a product marketing manager for ThePort Network, co-founder at Adynammic, and Technology Evangelist at Techrigy. Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Clemson University.
We go over what the big players in the market are: FourSquare, Gowalla and Facebook Places. Then we talk about how you can use these to further your marketing goals. Lastly, we talk about how Gowalla has integrated other location based systems to become more of a portal for check in’s.
