Did Facebook get it Right with Meta Business Suite

I hadn’t logged into Facebook Creator Studio in a week or more. Imagine my surprise when I notice a pop-up saying, “Hey, Facebook Creator Studio is now “Meta Business Suite.” At first, I was a little worried that Facebook would make this even more challenging to manage pages.

Coming from the Small business side of social media, it’s a pain to go into the Business manager, Creator Studio, and more. I miss the days when you could go to your Facebook page and manage everything there. The main reason I used Creator Studio was to schedule posts without paying for a third-party client (aka, I was on a tight budget, and having a third-party tool was not in the budget).

Imagine my shock when I get into the new “Meta Business Suite,” and I see some exciting things. First, the layout is much improved. It’s easier to navigate multiple pages you manage and to schedule posts. I say to this, well done, Facebook.

Next, You can schedule stories! This has been a big issue with me because before now, you had to go into IG or Facebook to do stories. No third-party tool I was aware of is story posting/scheduling. This is a much-needed feature.

Another feature is one that shocked me at first. When you go compose a post and want to post on both IG & Facebook, you can customize the post for each social media network! I LOVE this feature. If you are selling, you can say “Merch link in bio” but don’t want that to post on Facebook. I think you shouldn’t post the same images on different networks on the same day. However, sometimes it’s a must due to time sensitivity or lack of time to create content (if you are an SMB owner).

Lastly, the Planner has been overhauled and now comes with a new feature I love, the “Moments” section. This section shows upcoming days you can create posts around, such as World Emjoi Day, National Ice Cream Day, and more. If you follow my marketing elements for marketing, you know I love a national day. But don’t fret if you don’t or can’t use the suggested days; this section allows you to enter your own “moments” that are significant to your business. You can put in Black Friday/Cyber Monday, Significant company holidays and events, and anything you want to post about but don’t want to forget about creating a post. I LOVE this feature.

I have only been using this feature for a few days. There is much more to dive into and see how they have improved this service. However, I am super glad Meta is putting effort into their tools for IG and Facebook. I’ll report more soon.
