This is a common problem with Facebook. You create the perfect post and it gets lost in the news feed. What is there was a way for your fans to see your posts? I hear many going you can do that with an ad. That is correct but what if there was a way to do it without placing an ad?

Facebook released the “See First” to allow people to see your posts first in the news feed. A few weeks back Facebook announce changes to the way people see things in their news feeds. They are going to allow users to choose who and what they see first. This is the first time they are giving users an easy way to control the news feed.

Previously you had to create groups and put people in them. I have many groups and this can be very time consuming and confusing for users. It literally can take you hours to get your friends in groups. After you have done so it can be quite beneficial but most give up trying to comprehend all this.

There are two ways to have your pages content show up in peoples newsfeed. The first is on your page directly. A fan can go where it says “Liked” and click the down menu and then select the “See First.” This will make sure your fans will see your pages content!

The next way is from a mobile device. A large portion of your Facebook audience will be using a mobile device. They can go under settings and “News feed Settings” to adjust who they see. The screen shot is from iOS but it can be done on both iOS and Android.

On iOS click the bottom right corner. Then scroll down till you see the “News Feed Settings.” The image above will show up and you can add or subtract people from this list.

On Android go to the page. It will say “Following” click this and a menu will pop up. It will allow people to Unfollow, Follow and See First.

If you haven’t, inform your fans on this new feature. This should hopefully increase your engagement rate.
