Prisma is released for Android

Photo app fans rejoice!  The Prisma App is now on Android! It is an app that I have come to love over the last few weeks. I did a post on Prisma a few weeks back. It takes your pictures and converts them to works of art. It could be a painting or a cartoon. It does a great job at making really cool pictures. Just beware that you may have to try a few different filters to find the right one.

The official description is: “Prisma transforms your photos into works of art using the styles of famous artists: Van Gogh, Picasso, Levitan, as well as world famous ornaments and patterns. A unique combination of neural networks and artificial intelligence helps you turn memorable moments into timeless art pieces”

I know many times Android users are left out of many of the photo apps. Many never make the jump over to Android. I’m super happy that Prisma Labs put this out there. I think more people will use the app. Since the release I have noticed that I’m getting error messages. Several times today I get the message below, saying that there are too many users. I hope this will change in the next few days. I’m sure the demand with the Android addition has stressed out the servers. If you downloaded it, just give it some patience. You will get great use of this app.

I have used this app for quite a few graphics here on Marketing Elements. I also have used it for others. It looks like you may have an artist on staff! It’s free on both platforms and super easy to use. The only downside right now is all images are square. Download Prisma now from the Google Play store.

EDITORS NOTE: For the next few months I will be covering more iOS apps. This is because I had an accident with my Nexus 7. It fell off a shelf when charging and the micro USB port was damaged. I have no way to charge the tablet. I am either going to get it fixed or get a new PixelC tablet. I will still let readers know when an app is on both. However, there will be no screenshots or how to videos for Android.
