Data Never Sleeps turns 10 this year! It’s hard to believe that this infographic has been with us for 10 years. If you aren’t familiar with this infographic, it shows you everything done on the Internet every minute. This fantastic research and graphic is brought to you by Domo.

Around 5 billion people, or 63% of the world’s population, have access to the Internet as of April 2022. 4.65 billion people, or more than 93% of this total, used social media. A total of 97 zettabytes of data are anticipated to be created, recorded, duplicated, and used globally in 2022, with that quantity expected to increase to 181 zettabytes by 2025, according to Statista.

10-Year Difference in Every Minute on the Internet

The one mind-blowing fact is the YouTube stat. In 2013 there were 48 hours of video uploaded every minute to 500 Hours of video. The other interesting stat is emails; we have only increased emails by 27 million more today than in 2012.
