Pick the Perfect Color in HEX, RGB, and CMYK with Color-Hex

There are times when you have the chance to fine-tune and pick the perfect color. However, if you’re like me, that doesn’t happen too often. You usually have little time to pick a color and put out a graphic. It is awesome about Canva because they have everything put together, and with a few changes, you’re ready to go.

To take your design to the next level, you will need to change colors and find those that complement each other or have a lighter/darker shade. When I use the color picker and try to make a lighter shade, it usually goes horribly wrong, either too dark or too light. Rarely do I get it just right. Never fear. There is a great solution for you called Color Hex.

Color Hex lets you see what colors are trending and Color Palettes with searchable Color Schemes. This can be a lifesaver. If you are familiar with colors and hex numbers, you may know how to do this on your own, but if you are like me, you can get a set of colors that go well together, and you can change out colors in your design a lot easier.

One thing I used Color Hex for was the color gold. I wanted several shades of gold but couldn’t get them right. I searched gold, and the perfect combo of gold colors came up. This was after an hour of trial and much error. I did a Google search and found Color Hex.

It gave me this color palettes for gold:

The collection gives you the HEX Code and RGB values. And you can also download a Palette that you can upload to programs such as Pastel and easily import it into Apps like Procreate.

The best thing about this service is that the color schemes are submitted by individuals. No matter what you are looking for, you can find a Palette. There are the Houses of Hogwarts, Shades of colors, and more. Just search the schemes, and you will find the perfect colors.

This is now my go-to site for colors when drawing and designing graphics. Check it out, and I hope you find it as helpful as I do!
