Get Instagram Analytics with InsTrack

TheUsing Analytics for a small business can be challenging. One of the most challenging to do his Instagram. This is because there are no built-in analytics in Instagram. Other social media sites such as the Facebook insights or Twitter or Analytics. And one of the most annoying things to me is that Instagram doesn’t use dates rather they use days in weeks. Images will show posted so many days ago or so many weeks ago it doesn’t give you an exact time when they were posted.

I’ve been looking for some options in analytics for sometime now. There have been very few free or low-cost options out of the market. But Iconosquare has some draw backs. The first is it takes it a while to tabulate your analytics. It has taken up to a day for it to go through accounts. Next, it’s web based and not so easy to check on the go. Lastly if you pay for the service it can range from $28 – 149 a year. Depending on your needs.

This past month I discovered an app called InsTrack. It created year end videos in a few peoples feeds. After looking not into it i saw it will tell you the followers, top posts, bottom posts, blocks and more. It’s a great app for on the go. it gives you very quick overview of your account. It also can do multiple accounts as well.

The app is free but has some in app purchases. They include Media, Multiple accounts, followers and more. Each one ranges from 99 cents to $1.99. Still not a bad price for analytics on Instagram. One of my favorite features is under the media section. It will show you your most popular posts that include likes and comments. Then it will break each out and show the one with the most likes and the most commented. The most commented allows you to see what your followers want to talk about.

Is the App perfect? Not exactly but for around $5 total it can give you some quick information. I hope they improve the app more and more. This app is perfect for on the go and quick checking your account. Unlike Iconosquare it gives you information instantaneously. The app only takes a few seconds to update.

The InsTrack app is available on both IOS and Android. Each has in app purchases to get the added features.
